Say Good-bye to Josh Bell and Steven Johnson- More Prospects with bags packed - Dodger Prospects Top Performances and Minor League Box Scores - July 30th, 2009
With a tinge of sadness True Blue says goodbye to Josh Bell and Steven Johnson who leave this series forever as Dodger prospects and now just become old friends. By the end of today who will follow suit? I'll have more at the end of the trading deadline as we see how our minor league coffers get depleted as Ned and company try to build a World Championship team.
July 30th highlights
Trayvon Robinson steals five bases (38 on the year), making the most of his three hits
Jamie Hoffman with two triples and six runs batted in, as he tries to get the Dodgers to notice they need a right handed bat for the bench and the occasional start against LHP for Andre
Doug Mientkiewicz looks close to ready to help the bench with four hits in five at bats last night
Ned called him untouchable this week, Dee Gordon tries to show why with four more hits and two stolen bases giving him 58 bags for the year.

we’ll give hyang nam choi a callup this year? he seems to be owning AAA.
No, they would have done it by now if they felt his stuff would play.
We’ve been told that while he’s getting AAA hitters out, his stuff is not impressive.
