Manny's back!

That didn’t take long!

Manny!

There’s some real fireworks!

Manny stroked ...
He's going to start opening things up, just got to get people on base for him.

MANNY!!!!!!!

That Padre fan had a funny answer to why he didn’t throw back the home run ball

The best team in MLB getting better.

Too bad it’s these darn Fox reporters…

Dinger day

With Geer and Hamilton, there should be some HR today. On radio Steiner said Hudson is getting today and tomorrow off.

Double Play

Loney hits it hard just bad luck

That was one of the creakiest/weirdest DPs you’ll ever see.

What's the injury delay for?

Henry Blanco

pulled a muscle running to 1st on a single

by spike238e on Jul 4, 2009 1:40 PM PDT reply actions

Word of advice.

You never want to pull a muscle. It hurts like heck. :(

3 days after the accident, my legs and back are still sore from overcompensating the injured back muscle.

by Tripon on Jul 4, 2009 1:42 PM PDT reply actions

Ouch.

I pulled my hamstring a couple years ago and that was some horrible pain for a while, and took a couple months for my leg to not give in when I ran. I can’t even imagine a back injury.

Gameday

ESPN takes too long for me to interpret what’s happening. I’ve never tried Gametracker.

Good quote from Rick Monday

“People don’t tune into the game to listen to my opinion.” Print it, laminate it, and send it to ESPN, please. Hooray for the rare TV broadcast in the Midwest!

by bpriebe on Jul 4, 2009 1:47 PM PDT reply actions

Agreed

Missed the homer, but actually get to watch the rest of the game, so I’m not too upset. Except those ugly hats. Ugh.

by Nathan S. on Jul 4, 2009 1:57 PM PDT up reply actions

All right dudes

Find that UMP and shank him.

by sumo390 on Jul 4, 2009 2:14 PM PDT reply actions

Time for some offense

To help Wolf’s solid inning out.

by Nathan S. on Jul 4, 2009 2:23 PM PDT reply actions

And Geer's only at 57 pitches through 5 innings.

Great.

Solid inning for Randy.

Damn.

Cabrera’s killin’ Manny. Good D though. And Manny’s stroke
is encouraging…..

by Pedro's curse on Jul 4, 2009 2:45 PM PDT reply actions

Manny should be 3-3 today

So that’s encouraging, but jeez, this Padres fielding is so lucky.

by Nathan S. on Jul 4, 2009 2:47 PM PDT reply actions

OK ...

here’s where A.E needs to step up. Extra base hit would be huge.

by Pedro's curse on Jul 4, 2009 2:54 PM PDT reply actions

What is wrong with Ethier?

Career .300 hitter down to .253 this year. Hasn’t hit a single since June 21.

by bpriebe on Jul 4, 2009 2:58 PM PDT reply actions

Will we finally get Wolf a win today?!

Let’s go Bison!

What a disaster

I suppose it could be worse. The Giants could’ve won by ten today.

by Nathan S. on Jul 4, 2009 4:02 PM PDT reply actions

Seriously?

Hudson and Furcal both go down looking to end the game? What a pathetic bottom of the 8th/top of the 9th. I guess only the Giants get byes right now. Hey Houston, just forfeit if that is all the effort you’re going to give.
