Lasorda To Have Number Retired By Ogden Raptors

The Ogden Raptors, minor league affiliate of the Los Angeles Dodgers, will honor Special Advisor to the Chairman and Hall of Fame Manager Tommy Lasorda before the Raptors game tomorrow night in Ogden, Utah. Lasorda, who managed in Ogden from 1966-68, will have his number four (4) jersey retired. Also, Mayor Matthew R. Godfrey will officially proclaim July 10 as Tommy Lasorda Day in Ogden . With this honor Lasorda will be the first inductee into the Ogden Professional Baseball Wall of Fame.
"It is an honor and privilege to be recognized in Ogden ," said Lasorda. "Some of my best memories are of my time there as we played great baseball, made lifelong friendships, and had lots of fun."
