which leaves only Kuo, Sherrill, Belisario, and McDonald. The more rest he gets the worse he seems to pitch coming off the rest. I have no stats to back this statement up with other then his game logs which I briefly perused, but there it is. Of course being a Clipper fan I have no clue what I'm talking about so take anything I say with a grain of pepper.

Troncoso's "Days of Rest" splits
The sample sizes are all small so I doubt any of it means doodley-squat, but the “one day of rest” numbers do seem to jump out at one’s eyeballs a bit.

Probably not
even if Kemp goes 0-5 with all strike outs and personally leaves 15 men on base it would never be enough to drum up that much venom.

I will admit, the first one of these posts made me want to punch a wall but I’m enjoying the progression of the “not our guy” series.
I hope tonight’s “not our guy” will only be chastised for being the only Dodger not to have two or more hits.
