Snoop Dogg is Not Our Guy

Anybody who leaves the house looking like this shouldn't be allowed to represent the Dodgers. And I'm not talking about how stoned he looks, either.

I'm not sure why we need a new "I Love LA" anyways, as the original is such a classic. Besides, Ozomatli already did a Dodgers song.

I'd love to see some of the other big sports starts of LA show their Dodgers support....Tiger Woods, Kobe Bryant, Landon Donovan, Oscar De La Hoya, Pete Carrol, John Wooden etc.

kobe was at a game earlier this year

tiger’s off golfing and lives in orlando now?

john wooden’s like 205, i don’t expect to see him at anything other than a basketball game nowadays.

as for the other guys… come if you want, i won’t care if you don’t. bandwagon superstar fans are a dime a dozen. i’m betting they’ll show up for the postseason.

Exactly! It’s not like Todd Marinovich has anything better to do these days, anyways…

Thanks so much Ollie. It’s hard to imagine but the LA Kings are the only team which I follow more passionately than our Dodgers. I think fellow TBLA commentor Bluetrek mentioned that they are a big Kings fan, too. Hope to see you all over at The Battle of California once the pucks begin to drop this October!!!

Love the Ozomatli song...

But Snoop Dogg and any other Dodger fan in the music world is welcome to chime in. This is LA, the Entertainment Capital of the World, and it’s about time the Dodgers become a glamour franchise again.

I wish

that our ANNUAL interleague teams were the Angels and Yankees. We played the Yankees like 4 or 5 years ago at Dodger Stadium (we took it 2 – 1) and it was magical. Imagine if we had that every year! Besides, Dodgers … Yankees … that’s a richer rivalry than the Yanks and the Sox!

I'd rather the Dodgers play the Royals every year

Magical as it may be, I would hate the idea of playing as good of a team as the Yankees every year. The Angels are bad enough. Screw the magic, give me the W’s :)

damn pragmatism!

You’re right. Baseball is special because of the magic, but you’re right!
