What if i’ve already met Eric Stephen? Can I get a discount on my ticket? Can I get a further discount if I offer to sit next to him?

Relatives of Mr. Stephen pay a 3.00 surcharge

I am in and quite excited

I’m interested to see if the conversation during the game resembles a game thread (with the analyzing of every aspect) or if it will be more “chit chat” type stuff.

Pictures? No. Padma and Zooey? Absolutely.

by KellyStephen on Aug 19, 2009 6:11 PM PDT up reply actions   0 recs

In that case, the smuggling should be extra enjoyable.

by David Young on Aug 19, 2009 6:14 PM PDT up reply actions   0 recs

I’ll pay for their tickets. :)

by Eric Stephen on Aug 19, 2009 6:38 PM PDT up reply actions   0 recs

what if they insist on sitting dugout club?

so they can be seen and all

William Doolittle at your service, a.k.a. will do.

by Ollie on Aug 19, 2009 6:42 PM PDT up reply actions   0 recs

Then me & EL Lay Dave will occupy the other two seats with them :)

by Eric Stephen on Aug 19, 2009 6:43 PM PDT up reply actions   0 recs

What other two seats?

They will be sitting on our laps.

Thanks a lot, BRO!!!! Sheesh…so much for that blood thicker than water thing.

by KellyStephen on Aug 19, 2009 7:51 PM PDT up reply actions   0 recs

You bring Padma and Zooey and you’ll find your blood getting plenty thick again.

Dude, you could have a cool product to offer

Team colors donuts is an idea whose time has come. I’d leave the cake alone, but team color icings would be awesome. Dodger Blue and white, the purple and gold of the Lakers, white icing with red icing for “stitches” to look like a baseball. All with just enough to make the team recognition, but without violating copyrights. Awesome!

by David Young on Aug 19, 2009 7:02 PM PDT up reply actions   0 recs

Although you already missed one jackpot. Last season, you would have sold out of Dodger Andruw Jones doughnuts.

You need to keep this post at the top of the page, at least for the next week or two.

And/or plug it and link it in every game preview and game thread writeup.

by David Young on Aug 20, 2009 3:41 PM PDT up reply actions   0 recs

I've done that

but with little result. I’ll move it again.

4th of October game

I thought of waiting till the middle of September to ask this question, but now’s as good a time as any: I am going to be visiting the California contingent of my family from Sept 30 – Oct 11. Since my brother-in-law was kind enough to get tickets to the Oct 4th game* I was wondering if any of you fine True Bluers will be in attendance. I’d like to meet you.

  • and tickets to the first two home post-season games, G-d willing

I really wish I didn't live in Boulder, Co for these outings alone

i’m moving back to L.A next season… I mean year so i’ll be around for the TBLA get-togethers then

Not sure if other SB Nation blogs do this but I think it’s a great idea getting our blogging community together.

I can go.

Wife can’t make it, so 1 ticket please.

by Paul Scott on Aug 21, 2009 5:48 PM PDT reply actions   0 recs

Looks like 18 are gone with 12 left. Fairly certain we have some late comers for at least four more leaving eight tickets. So if you have been on the fence, now is the time to make a commitment. Could be the game where we clinch the pennant and wouldn’t you want to be there to see how it happens?

I’ve already received the tickets so I’ll be mailing them out this week once I contact the list and get the mailing addresses.

by meercatjohn on Aug 25, 2009 9:52 AM PDT reply actions   0 recs

Yes! The rare “double TBLA outing” participant! Welcome back.

Dudes

I would love to go, but I told my friend that I would help him sail his new boat to Catalina this weekend. Make some sort of other excursion soon and I will be there. Excuses, excuses.
