GOLDEN GOD
He can have the nickname back for a night at least
William Doolittle at your service, a.k.a. will do.
I personally think this all happened because I just started watching "Eraserhead" a mintue before Martin hit the GS.
Watch a bizarre movie, see a bizarre result.
Cub fans on Bleed cubbie blue
are hilarious. I’d seriously worry for my safety if I were Pinella at this point. Those guys all hate Aaron Miles way more than we dislike anyone on the Dodgers
I need to find the Ron Santo call of Russ' grand slam
I’m guessing it’s beyond epic
Haha
I forget if it was that game or another one, but I remember seeing Dusty Baker having to console Santo after the game, he was too upset.
Love the new thread title, E

I knew this was too good to be true
Russel Martin Grand slam
Ominious to say the least.
I think people don't realize
Troncoso really hasn’t been that great this year, as far as being a sub-2 pitcher he was before :o
after that cubs series in Chi Town earlier this year he was my hero
maybe he needs a little cubbie blue to get right : )
William Doolittle at your service, a.k.a. will do.
yeah
striking out less, walking more, less groundballs
i just wonder how much of his struggles are fatigue, and how much are just…reality

He has pitched in five games in the past two weeks before tonight. Two of the outings were short (1 out) because he sucked.
by Eric Stephen on Aug 20, 2009 9:33 PM PDT up reply actions
listen to the game on XM on the long drive south
do not turn it on when I get here, then when I do RM hits a GS and I think did I pass thru a time warp and go back to 2007? then go to post and syupid Vista goes kaput, beat on the laptop for a minute now I can join the party, YEA RUSSELL
So.. . .
I’m flying in tomorrow for three games, could use some ideas for dinner on Sat night. Looking for something I can’t get in AZ
good for u….i was wearing an in-n-out polo shirt on a flight home from dallas one time and a guy stood up as i was walking down the aisle and high-5’d me. he thought i worked for them and was scouting locations! he was seriously down when i set him straight
by KellyStephen on Aug 20, 2009 9:35 PM PDT up reply actions
You should have at least got a few beers out of him at the airport bar first.
