I'm curious but I would think that Haeger's two starts this week has to rank up with the best two games ever pitched for the Los Angeles Dodgers, for someone who transitioned from the minors to the majors. Fernando of course had two better starts since they were both shutouts but those were not his first two games for the Dodgers.
It may not just be the best two starts for someone who transitioned from the minors to the majors but also for anyone who was traded to the Dodgers.
So I'm challenging True Blue readers to find me two games in which a Dodger pitcher started both games for his first two games in a Dodger Uniform that were better then what Haeger did this week.
Dave Goltz threw two shutouts for game three and four but was typically lousy in game 1 and 2.
