The Stars At Night Are Big & Bright...At Dodger Stadium
The Dodgers are putting together quite a series of events this year. They have had fishing trips, "Under the Lights" featuring batting practice with various players, and even yoga with Andre Ethier. The latest in these events is the 4th annual Blue Heaven Sleepover, to be held Friday, August 14. Here is what a ticket entails:
- Watch the Dodgers play the Diamondbacks in Arizona on DodgerVision
- Dinner
- Play catch on the field at Dodger Stadium
- Watch "Field of Dreams" after the Dodger game
- Breakfast the next morning
Tickets are $200 per adult and $100 per child, and there are family deals for $500 (2 adults, 2 children). The first 200 people to sign up will receive "a free sleeved blanket" (is that anything like a Snuggie?). For tickets or more information, go to the Dodger Life website, or call (323) 224-2646.
The event is BYOSB (bring your own sleeping bag). If any True Blue LA readers attend the event, we'd love to hear details. Feel free to write a FanPost about your night out at Dodger Stadium.

I'd rather watch the 65 Championship.

That would be sweet…with members of that team at the event! I call the spot next to Lou Johnson!

I heard they leave the stadium lights on the whole night for safety reasons, so it might also be a good idea to bring some kind of sleeping mask and earplugs in case you actually want to sleep. :)

I wonder what kind of acoustics the stadium has, in terms of amplifying all the snoring.
