Lindblom quietly doing the job - Dodger Prospect Top Performances and Minor League Box Scores - Aug 8th, 2009

On Friday Morning Scott Elbert thought he was going to be making his first start in the major leagues on Sunday. By the end of Friday night he was the losing pitcher in a hard fought extra inning game, and by Saturday he was back in AAA a victim of having had to pitch Friday night.

Josh Lindlbom pitched three scoreless innings which marks the most innings the Dodgers have allowed him to throw since July 8th. Since being put in the Isotope bullpen Lindblom has appeared in nine games and allowed only only run. A string of 15 innings, 11 hits, 1 run, 12 K's, and only 2 walks.

Alfredo Silverio collected four hits for the Loons. In 2007 Silverio destroyed rookie league pitchers but has never managed to build on that season. Silverio is a good example of taking a jaded view of rookie league numbers.

Jamie Hoffman collected four hits and now his Isotope wOBA sitting at .376. He will be a welcome addition come Sept.

Blake DeWitt collected two hits including a home run as he tries get his season back on track.
