Great news regarding Miller’s performance. But I don’t understand the Wisconsin referrence?

The “questionable pick” as some people said on draft day, Logan White strikes again.

Blake was questioned

as being picked as a hitter instead of a pitcher but I don’t remember much controversy over Miller. Not like he was a number one pick, you have to gamble at that spot. Plus a college pitcher setting down the kids is not exactly news. If you read the story of the game he only threw strikes with the fastball and had the kids chasing the slider down and away. At some point he will need to throw the slider for strikes, right now he doesn’t need to, but can he?

down an in?

lefty to righty? or do leftys throw sliders down and away to rightys in the minors and still get away with it?

“He threw good, but he only threw his fastball for strikes,” Whitecaps manager Joe DePastino said. “We kept looking at the fastball a lot and swinging at the sliders down and in and down in the dirt.”

I've always loved the call of the Loon

one of the most eerie sounds you’ll ever hear on a lake.
