Dodger Minor League Season is Over

The Albuquerque Isotopes were swept in three games in the first round and exited the playoffs without a whimper. The Dodgers barely raided the roster so they had plenty of ammunition to make a long run in the playoffs but they shot blanks.

Game One |Game TwoGame Three

The Rookie League Ogden Raptors followed suit by being swept by the Orem Owlz in two games. Their fate was sealed when Webster was rocked in the first game. Pitching was not a strong suit of the Raptors and the offense didn't come up with enough runs to offset it

Game One Game Two

This left the Midwest League Great Lake Loons as the lone standing Dodger affiliate to get out of the first round. They made a battle of it but eventually lost in the 2nd round to the Fort Wayne TinCaps in the final game 4 -3 in extra innings . Aaron Miller and Jamie Pedroza were the stars of the playoffs with Miller making two solid starts and Pedroza hitting a game winning and game tying home run but it was not enough.

Minor League Updates are done for the year until we start our top 15 prospect discussion after the Dodgers have won their first World Championship since 1988 and the AFL season is concluded.

Loved reading this

for this year.

Even I don’t have the time to track all the teams day to day. Awesome.

Belated thank you

for the great minor-league posts throughout the season. It’s great being able to read TBLA, and the linked items such as kensai’s stuff, and have a good feel for our minor-league players.
