Only 7 streaks longer in LAD history.
Max was 17 straight, in 1960

They only had one other streak of 10 in the Coliseum.

Wow, the last 16 of those were home games. Gotta love early West Coast schedules

A healthy and rested
Beardman and Hudson is way more important then a Garate and Garcia. Hey, we might even see Garate so we could score more runs.
hey im happy for you and i'll let you finish
but albert pujols is having one of the best seasons of all time!!

LAN 10-2
if this score holds, which it probably won’t. It is listed as the 112th most likely score of tonights game.
vr, Xei
13-2, 180th on the list
Gonna have to sim a million games to get the final score of this one?
vr, Xei
is it time to put up Kanye interrupts pics???

3 fires.
I am affected by the one burning between Fillmore and Moorpark. Two in the inland empire.
vr, Xei
In the hills between Fillmore and Moorpark. The ash and smoke is blowing southwest towards me and away from Simi.
vr, Xei
Oh ok
I haven’t been to Moorpark in about a week (I go to Moorpark College) so I guess that’s why I haven’t seen it.
Oh wow
Durham Bulls are on National TV tonight. Whats with this? Seen a game or two there, beautiful stadium
this is all karma for hitting Russell
Sorry to say it, but he was their best shot at getting an out!
well, let that be a lesson
for those who want to compare Loney’s numbers to Adam Dunn, when complaining how the Dodgers don’t have a power-hitting first baseman!
in a different world, where ownership actually wanted to win
he would be a dh

Eric Collins is a dirty liar, and has besmirched the good name of Eric!
He needs to change his spelling to Erik.

Given how long that inning was, I might have considered pulling Kuroda
And let the back, back end of the pen finish this one.
according to ESPN we have a 99% chance of winning this game...

Question
Can the Nationals light up Bills tomorrow? I mean, the Nationals are playing as if they couldn’t beat my little cousin’s baseball team right now. But “anything can happen”. Judging tonight, how likely will bills get a QS?
yeah, don't take the Nats lineup for granted
it’s quite good, which must mean that pitching and defense really DOES win ballgames!
That’s more on what adjustments Billingsley makes.
by Eric Stephen on Sep 22, 2009 6:33 PM PDT up reply actions
Always best to not judge a team at its best (Dodgers tonight) or worst (Nats tonight)
by Eric Stephen on Sep 22, 2009 6:34 PM PDT up reply actions
actually, no joke
manure was the medium used in the worst terrorist attack committed by an american in america, AFAIK
by stillnotah8er on Sep 22, 2009 6:37 PM PDT up reply actions
for the Nats' sake
I hope that Steven Stratsburg can pitch 5 nights a week…while fielding first base in between pitches.
Probably just seizing the opportunity of a free game to play with.

if thome wasnt so slow that woulda been error no. 5
"That is not how you play the game!!!" -Jack in the Box
That would be insulting to a veteran like Hudson
He’ll start a game at some point, he won’t pinch hit unless game is on the line.
I think he was playing off Phil’s snark earlier. :)

hey, those guys can hit
If it was 14 to 8, that’d be different. But 14-2? Nothing to diminish.
Let’s just hope Billz can get it together tomorrow.
Actually I was way behind tonight. Plus I didn’t expect Kershaw to pitch. Give me 20 minutes or so. :)

meanwhile #3/#4 starter jorge de la rosa struggled mightily against the pads

Who in their wildest dreams would've thought
after the Trojans victory at the Horse Shoe, that the Trojans would be for all practical purposes eliminated (from a Nat’l Championship) before the Dodgers clinched a playoff spot.
vr, Xei
Not that I want to lose a shirt again, but with the Pac-10 getting some quality non-conference wins, running the table just might get it done for USC.
But again, I don’t want to think that far ahead.
by Eric Stephen on Sep 22, 2009 7:20 PM PDT up reply actions
that depends on the SEC biased news media who never watch Pac10 games.
