A Night At The Dugout Club
I wrote this article a couple years ago for the L.A. Weekly. They chose not to publish it because someone wrote an article ripping George W Bush. I recently posted it online. I hope you enjoy it.

Nice write up.
My first trip to the Dugout Club was last year in August. We were within 10 feet of the on deck circle. We were playing (and beat) the Phillies. It was this game, actually. Matt Kemp hit a SLAM to deep right center that night.
Anyway, Jimmy Rollins was on deck and my wife said quietly to me, “#11 is really short.” I then said, “He can probably hear you, say it aloud!” So every time J Roll came up I’d loudly say, “Boy, #11 is really short!”
