Thanks for making this blog, it at least gave me a little chuckle when I feel like punching my wall in. Is it time to just come to the conclusion we aren’t that good of an offensive team? I mean seriously, it’s gone beyond a slump, this is just pathetic.

Agreed nice outing for him

by Eric Stephen on Sep 4, 2009 8:55 PM PDT up reply actions

He has been solid and this has nothing to do with him. We should have put 6 runs up on the board by now.

by KSeal on Sep 4, 2009 8:55 PM PDT up reply actions

Kershaw has to be beyond frustrated tonight

Poor defense, no situational hitting at all, Ausmus K’ing twice with runners on third and 1 out, etc.

by oshea2002 on Sep 4, 2009 8:56 PM PDT reply actions

Only 2 down. Besides, there has not been an exciting win for a while.

by delias man on Sep 4, 2009 8:56 PM PDT via mobile reply actions

Cue one armed man

and that’s why you don’t pull Kershaw after 2 IP

by Eric Stephen on Sep 4, 2009 8:57 PM PDT reply actions

If Kershaw loses this

8 wins 8 losses

2.89 ERA

I’d be mad as hell

1987:

Nolan Ryan led league in ERA (2.76), ERA+ (142), and K (270).

He finished 8-16.

You can also add..

71’, 72’, 73’, 74’, 76’, 84’, 87’, ++++++

I know he was a walk machine, but those seasons are a bit frustrating

by PHAT JULIO on Sep 4, 2009 9:07 PM PDT up reply actions

Poor Kershaw. He can’t get any run support even when the Dodgers are going against a double a pitcher. I think I might cry if my boy Kemp doesn’t get a hit here, he is WAY due.

Only positive I can take from this sad display tonight is that it can’t possibly get any worse then this. At least going forward things HAVE to get better.

by KSeal on Sep 4, 2009 9:06 PM PDT reply actions

I hope Kershaw gets a ND tonight.

If he does, he will tied Joba Chamberlain with 13 no decisions. Randy Wolf and Roy Oswalt are tied for the MLB lead, with 14 each.

And wish he could take every AB from Loney, Martin, or Raffy. Unfortunately, he can only play the OF, where our 3 best hitters reside. He is better than none of them. So he sits.

DODGERS have no HEART

I just signed up to this website, lifetime Dodger fan mainly to tell my team that they look pathetic. They have NO heart. Their heads are filled with ARROGANCE… Example: Russell Martin walks up to the plate with a swagger like he’s 7’ tall, all muscle… I see that from a lot of the players on the team… Looking around at the plate, as if they’re fishing for attention from the stands. Guys, FOCUS. There is no fire in your eyes and we’re beginning to see you’re full of it. Everything in life takes HUMILITY & hard work, ask JPierre. This team doesn’t deserve to go post season, Im not seeing it. I almost bought tickets to SF this morning to support you next weekend. With this economy, I somehow managed to save for it…but boy, after tonight’s game was I glad I didn’t. I realized I wasn’t going to get my money’s worth. Im glad I didn’t renew my season tickets for this year, I feel bad for all the families who trek out to Dodger Stadium, and YES! I’m angry that the Giant, Rockies’, and Cardinal fans have pulled the rug from under us & are sitting comfortably on it enjoying what we worked so hard- cheering all year to claim our own. But you know, look at how these other teams played tonight… ALL HEART. Sorry Joe, until this fan sees otherwise, I’ll reconsider next year. Only the real men survive. Excuses are for A__H__’s, everyone’s got one! Just do it !!!

by LongBeachDodger on Sep 4, 2009 10:40 PM PDT reply actions

So, on Thursday night was it the Dodgers with heart, and the Rockies, Giants, and Cardinals without heart, since they all lost?
