It looks like the Dodgers will be playing the Chinese Professional Baseball League All-Stars:
The visiting team will feature Manager Joe Torre and the team’s two Taiwan native players, left-handed reliever Kuo Hong-chih and infielder Hu Chin-lung. The final roster of the visiting Dodgers will not be announced until the end of February, however
Tickets range from $15 to $156
Will xeifrank take the Taiwan News to task for using the Wade-Giles Romanization system?

I am not trying to defend Wade-Giles....
just take it easy, Kuo can always change his romanized name if he wants to.

Wade-Giles / Pinyin is the source of a long-running joke involving Xeifrank. This is all in good fun. Did you see our “yi èr” joke in the comments on another thread yesterday? (Yes, I know some people are very sensitive about Pinyin vs. Wade-Giles.)

Would love to go...
but am saving up for my next trip to the mainland. I’ve spent a fair amount of time in Taiwan and enjoyed it. The people are very friendly, food is good, weather sucks, but it does have one of the world’s best museums, that often flies under the radar.

I wonder if the Dodgers
would consider paying the way for a blogger to make the trip with the team and blog the experience. (wink, wink).
