I don’t know man.
We are not good in the 4th quarter. Auburn is finding a way to win every week.
We usually play well on the Plains, though.
Should be a good game.
Toughest one we get until Bama I think, including LSU. Arkansas could win easily. The Hogs will rack up all sorts of yardage on the Auburn D, all you have to do is stop Newton from scoring more. And avoid stupid fake field goals, those things will kill you :-)

Listening to the game on ESPN radio
cause I’ve decided barring Vin Scully considerations, baseball should be listened to not watched. However, it does mean I get gems like this:
I’m not convinced that Stubs couldn’t have made a miracle catch there.

OT- Did anyone
as a child or still as an adult have special food preparation rules? Like, as a child I’d only eat a sandwich cut in triangles, and I’d only drink out of my yellow cup.
As an adult, I prefer to drink my tea out of the orange mug, rather than the identically shaped sky blue mug.
Can't remember about colors but
we always had those individual-sized “variety” cereal boxes in my family. One morning every time I’d reach for a cereal pack my older brother would snatch it away by stabbing it with a steak knife. So i decided to do the same thing except I was like 5 and not very coordinated. So when he reached for the box, I stabbed him through the hand instead of the box. It went all the way through to the tables. He was pretty shocked and I got in trouble. Why there were steak knives at a table with a bunch of kids, I have no idea.
Yeah, well, you know, that's just, like, your opinion, man

i haven't yet caused harm to anyone but myself
but once on a hike, my older brother was angry about something, so he picked up a rock and threw it. Said rock bounced off a tree at a perfect angle and beaned my youngest brother in the back of the head.

by Josie Becker on Oct 10, 2010 7:42 PM PDT up reply actions
I hate them both nearly equally
but living in SF I have to vindictively root against Giants because dickish Giants fans become even more dickish when they win. I’d rather deal with morose Giants fans.

Only thing humorous about the Giants tho...
Is that they spent all that money on Barry Zito, and he didnt even make the playoff roster.
I wonder if he’ll be put on it for the Phillies series..
the zito and rowand contracts are undeniably
albatrosses around their necks. Which is fine by me.
But I still find it hard to laugh given they’re in the playoffs and we don’t know what our own team’s financial situation will be…

The last two starters on the same team had game scores of 80 or more
in a playoff series before this year, was in 2001 when Randy Johnson and Curt Schilling had two starts against Atlanta in the NLCS.
This year both the Phillies and Giants have had two starters with game scores of 80 or more in the same divisional series.
Prior to the Schilling/Johnson, you have to go to the 1995 World Series when Glavine and Maddux did it against the Indians.
