After much trial and error
I managed to change my screenname. Still shouldn’t have had to open a new account though, but oh well.
So who are you? I gotta keep this shit straight. I should have replaced Mike with Michael, the whole two first names business just looks worse with Mike.
I was using Michael Kieser as my screen name. There was some confusion with Mr. White up there which is a big reason why I wanted to change it.

confusion?
Reading is difficult
Leading the league in OMGs || President of the Billz Appreciation Club
How could “Michael Kieser” be confused with “Michael White”? They don’t look the same at all.
Or if Michael White confused “Michael Kieser” with someone else (banned?), who’s that someone else?
It’s not clear what you mean by “shouldn’t have had to open a new account”. If you were getting blocked under your old name because you were being mistaken for someone else then yes, you probably would have to open a new account to avoid the confusion. Any new username means new account. It’s just how logins work. You were able to log in under your old username while waiting for the new account to clear the 24 hours, no?
(oops)

Matt Kemp and Jonathan Broxton feels bloated
LOS ANGELES DODGERS: Most of the Dodgers’ bad contracts have expired, except for deferred money owed to Manny Ramirez over the next three years. The closest things L.A. has to bloated contracts are for closer Jonathan Broxton ($7 million in 2011) and center fielder Matt Kemp ($7.1 million), but those are arbitration-eligible players who had been locked up and who are simply coming off substandard seasons with the opportunity to bounce back.

Both Bob T and I made Aaron Gleeman all defensive
about his article on Don Mattingly the other day. (Via twitter)
He basically wondered why we were being all prickly about it.
I’d pointed out that he’d made some mistakes in that article and Bob called it poorly researched.
Gleeman: In what way is it “mistaken-prone”? I quoted directly from an MLB.com report about the game, which also focused on Mattingly.
aarongleeman @bobtimmermann @craigary Seems you’re very worked up, as if I wrote a long thing bashing Mattingly. I didn’t. Just passing along MLB report.
I wrote back:
Just that he had limited pitch count, lim pitchers who couldn’t get people out, in meaningless game. Felt it was deriding him. But if MLB.com was more at fault, apologies, and thanks for responding. (Just worried people aren’t even giving him a chance.)

It’s funny when there’s an actual yellow line painted on the field (as is the case on UCLA’s 20 yard lines) it gets confusing. Then again, Prime Ticket doesn’t show the yellow first-down line on many of its broadcasts.

I believe the AFL is considered a hitter's league
and that the hitters are generally more advanced than the pitchers. IIRC.
@davidyoungtbla - The commenter formerly known as El Lay Dave.
Also, most teams will not bother to send their top pitching prospects. Say what you want about Ethan Martin, Chris Withrow, or Aaron Miller, but they’re probably the best pitchers in the org right now, excluding Zach Lee and his circumstances.
I know Miller pitched last year in the AFL, but that was because his arm needed the innings and workout.
The other guy in the Casey Blake deal
He pitched for four AAA teams in 2009! And didn’t pitch anywhere last year.

Stars aren't blue red or white you are right
but cowboys and mavs are blue and white. Maybe a slightly different shade.

Sanchez was really living in a tree

I will find and hurt the next person on the internet who says Sanchez is a great comp for Kershaw.
Fuck the Rangers in 2010
Yeah, they are totally a great comparison
Except that Kershaw is near the top in the league in hits allowed, walks less (what does that tell you), and is just generally all around better.
Oh, they are both lefties….lol

Well Sanchez is the leader in hits allowed I think. I just hate hearing it because hes a Giant.

Oh yeah, that's right
I forgot about that. He actually had a hell of a year. Just not as good as Kershaw. I don’t think he was within 1 WAR of Kershaw this year.

Best places do not use carts
but are ordered off the menu. It’s fresher food that way. My favorite for both types:
Non-cart:
Sea Harbor on Rosemead, in Rosemead
Elite on Atlantic in Monterrey Park
Lunasia on Main Street in Alhambra (Old Triumphal Palace location)
King Hua on Main Street in Alhambra
Mission 261 on Mission in San Gabriel
Cart Style:
888 Seafood on Valley in San Gabriel
New Capital Seafood on Valley in San Gabriel
NBC on Atlantic in M.P.
I tend to stay away from Chinatown places as the quality is a step below the SGV places.
