United States of America, it’s a difficult problem. Like the UK/Great Britain, The Republic of Ireland is also on the British Isles but isn’t part of Great Britain. But that’s the term for someone who lives in the UK, British.
So yeah, there are people living in the Americas other than those in the US. But given the name of the country there really isn’t another available term for the inhabitants within

I was in the store when I looked at my At Bat
app and I saw bases loaded and Posey up and I thought well game over. Then I saw a bunch of words and “3 out” on my screen and I started laughing.
Sadly, I had to hear Chris Berman call the end of Ankiel’s home run but it was still sweet.

When I finally got home yesterday, it was 4-1 Giants
and they were making the 8th inning pitching change to Brian Wilson. We decided to head out to a local Mexican restaurant and by the time we got there it was 4-4 and Wilson was pitching the 9th. We saw the glorious finale in HD while sipping our margaritas. Orange never looked so sad.
