#20 The Core
This is another one of a kind offering. I am a sucker for cards where multiple players have signed them. Especially if they are all Dodgers. Upper Deck's SP Authentic is always good for some exciting autograph combinations. The autographs are all on-card, so there are no stickers. Getting it graded as perfect is hard to do since the card was handled by all 3 players, machinery, packing, myself, etc.
Chad was featured predominately in this set. He was also featured on these cards...
Dual Auto card with Gorzelanny and another with Buchholz
Quad Auto with Carmona, Blanton, and Gorzelanny
Quad Auto with Kemp, Loney and Hu
Back in 2008 when the card came out there were hopes of greatness for this trio. It is still possible for at least 2 of them. Even with Loney's struggles at the plate, I like his personality and he is one of my favorite players. I hope the best for him, and I really enjoy this card.
If you could make your own triple Dodger Autograph card among the current crop of players who would it be?

2 out of 3 ain't bad
Great card though particularly in 2008 you could dream that these guys would be Dodgers for a long time. Instead, 1 could be non-tendered, the other could be traded (if some of the more insane rumors play out) and the other while my personal favorite probably only has 2 more seasons left in blue.
Full disclosure
I have never been a fan of signature cards. They just don’t do it for me. This is pretty cool though.
Maybe I’m just a stickler for the old school Topps three-panel type cards, but if it’s multiple players I would like to see them displayed in that manner.
1. Kershaw, Kuo, Kemp – Killer K’s
2. Kuo, Broxton, Jansen – bringing the cheese
You can be (incompetent and a nice guy), you can be (competent and an asshole), but if you are an (asshole and incompetent), your only future is to be Keith's boss otherwise you are unemployable
Just what we need
a KKK card. good thing they aren’t all white dudes from indiana
Optimists drown in half-full bathtubs.
Billz Kersh and Etheir
I want to make them beautiful, but they always turn out WRONG! That one... too fat! This one... too tall! This one... too symmetrical!
I think that would be the most sought-after card. Two established starters and a prospect.

that was my original thought
but Billingsley doesn’t have the right emotional personality to ever make it and would ruin the value of the card.

Mine card, chosen entirely from the 40-man
The All-Jamie squad:
Jamie Hoffman
Jamey Carroll
“Jamie” Loney
Now with 33% more Kavula
I would have put Jamie McCourt on there, but I got a cease-and-desist letter from Frank, which reminded me that Jamie is not a Dodger at this time.

Would be part of a series I would design
the “Up the Middle” card with each team’s best pitcher, and two best middle position players (C/SS/2B/CF)
In 1996 this would have been the Randy Johnson/Griffey Jr/ARod card.
Course, you’d have to stomach a card featuring Carlos Ruiz, Shane Victorino and Roy Halladay, so I’m not sure it’s worth it.

Ned's Dream Card
Pierre, Jones, Schmidt. Ned would buy that one from me for big money… and keep the payments going for years.
My card would be
Brad Penny, Jason Schmidt, and Randy Wolf.
Or maybe just Kershaw, Billingsley, and Broxton.
