New Blog: Cottagers Confidential for Fulham FC Fans!

Jim Alexander of the Press-Enterprise, in his annual look at the "State of SoCal Sports," looks at the vast information available to the modern sports fan, through the prism of the McCourts' divorce. Joshua Fisher of DodgerDivorce.com, Rob McMillin of 6-4-2, and I were quoted in the article. My contribution:

"The less time [Frank McCourt] spent trying to assure fans everything is all right, the less of a public relations hole he and his staff would have to dig themselves out of."

Alexander chose True Blue LA as the fifth best SoCal independent sports blog.

Regicide!

Verlander apparently signed for 5/$80m, per SI.

That’s $2m more than King Felix.

And second only to Dodger Divorce for best SoCal independent Dodgers blog. That’s a specialty blog though – we got a bigger beat to cover.

Dodger Divorce

has come a long way very quickly. Can’t we just buy him out with all the riches that SB Nation can offer. He’s really good, but then again he’s a Law Student so one cancels out the other.

Law students are ok. It’s when they graduate and sell their souls that they become a problem.

I actually thought law school might be interesting. Until I realized that I would become a lawyer.

What? Jim Alexander doesn’t like P-E alum Paul Oberjuerge’s blog? ;)

Lakers

Up by three with 9.7 seconds, Bobcats ball. Lakers should foul, right? Just don’t foul on the three shot! Stuck here late at work listening on the radio.

Or just steal the inbounds

and dunk the ball. Lakers win! Time to go back to making some history.

who knew

that matt kemps bro had autism?

by matthewmafa on Feb 3, 2010 10:22 PM PST reply actions   0 recs

Yeah, that is one of the factors that may have shaped the Bison into being a big hard ass defender.
Quite frankly, I love it.

Matt Kemp is the man. And The Bison.
