While we were eating, I heard fans saying they saw Barry Bonds. A couple of them went outside to see if it was true. Of course, I also did...
Well what do you know? It's true.
Roberto of Vin Scully is my Homeboy attended the Dodger carvans and reports on his blog thatBarry Bonds crashed the Chicken and Waffles event. With photos.

This story was picked up at Big League Stew. Nice job by Roberto.

When signing a baseball, there’s an optimal spot to sign a baseball so the autograph looks really neat and tidy.
You’re also basically selling the ball is going on E-bay.
So the autograph asker was basically saying he wanted $25-50 bucks from Bonds, and asked it in a very condescending way because Bonds knows what the hell is a sweet spot is on the baseball and doesn’t need it to be pointed out by anyone.
wow- Bonds actually comes across pretty well here!
It sounds like he was being a pretty nice guy, and some fan openly (if unintentionally) admitted that he was trying to exploit Bonds to make money. I don’t blame him (Bonds) at all for the way he handled the situation.
In other, far less exciting news, I saw Ned Colletti at CVS a few weeks ago in Manhattan Beach. He was talking on his cellphone the entire time, and seemed like he was in a good mood- which is a pretty good indication he wasn’t conducting Dodger offseason business! (Not a particularly exciting story, I know, but I’ve been looking for an opportunity to share it, and this is probably as close as I’m gonna get to something related enough. :)) )
