Ha

There was a time where I was in a chat room and talking without knowing another thread started 10 minutes before

by Julio Nievas on Apr 16, 2010 8:49 PM PDT up reply actions

Did that last year until Eric felt pity and told me it had moved. I usually think it was something I said…

Both west coast hockey games are just tremendous.

Yah, watching my Sharks in a tough one

Great game. Hoping they don’t once again choke early in the playoffs.

Sigh

Now Krukow is implying that Padilla may have purposely loaded the bases hitting Rowand on purpose as “payback” for Kemp being knocked down earlier. This is how Giants fans get all riled up about the Dodgers, by listening to a lot of one-sided nonsense from their media for years.

Mike Krukow, former pitcher, now Giants analyst

He’s fairly good but also a total homer.

Bases loaded and no one out

seems like pretty good pressure to me. ;-)

And by tomorrow the two teams’ ’pens will be more in line with each other. I worried going into the series that one bad game for LA could really snowball the series…

What the origin of the family name Padilla means....

Spanish: named from Spanish padilla ‘frying pan’, ‘breadpan’ (Latin patella, a diminutive of patina ‘shallow dish’), a word which was commonly used in the topographical sense of a gentle depression.

Or what is left on your head once a fastball leaves the surface after being pitched by a “Padilla”… Kind of fits right? Rowand understands.

DeWitt was hot this spring but is cool in regulars. Belliard hit like crap in the spring but is hot now in regulars. I notice LA Times is starting to give up on DeWitt which is stupid

by aducker on Apr 16, 2010 9:32 PM PDT reply actions

Give DeWitt time. He needs to gain some confidence and experience at 2nd, and he will start to hit. Clutch hit last night, and his patience at the plate will pay off, with walks now, and hopefully with hits later.

as far as I'm concerned

he has a 3 baserunner limit- and that’s TOTAL baserunners. If not, DFA tonight. Be nice about it, but make sure to be there in person to see that he receives his papers.

Need to clone tonight’s Kemp and play him the rest of this season!

Man, Kemp seriously robbed there.

He’s already had a hell of a game, but damn, that would have been another 2 RBIs and more of a pad for Bombtiz.
