Gordon flirting with .400

The Isotopes and 66ers were pounded, the Lookouts found their bats, and the wily veteran Will Savage pitched the game of the night. Best news of the night has to be the hitting of Dee Gordon who so far is finding the jump to AA very manageable.

AAA -Jon Ely bounced back from his debut to pitch a solid six inning but the bullpen imploded leading to an eight to one loss. John Link had 1-2-3 9th inning as he tries to prove to the Dodgers he could help if they need him.

AA -Dee Gordon banged out three more hits moving his average past .400. Gordon was just one of multiple Lookouts to have multiple hits. Trayvon Robinson started things off with a three run home run in the first inning. It was the first home run for a Lookout on the season. Everyone seems to be breaking out of their early season funk as Lambo also collected two hits giving him five hits in his last nine at bats. Gordon has had four multiple hit games out of his last five. Mario Alvarez took the win with a decent effort. Much better than the last game he pitched.

High A -Yikes, Geison Aguasviva was horrible giving up eight hits in 1 2/3 of an inning. Only four of the nine runs were earned as the 66ers played fast and loose with the baseball. They gave up 12 runs but only five were earned. No offense on this night as they lost 12 - 1.

A - Will Savage pitched one of the best games of the young season, going six innings, giving up zero earned runs, eight strikeouts, zero walks. Galvez had two hits and two stolen bases giving him six for the season. Those two hits gives him the team lead at .389 two points a head of Blake Smith who also had two hits. Gerry Sands drops to .381 as he only collected one hit. Uh, that is some fine hitting from the 1st/of spots.
