Oh Yeah
Who’s at the game, are they still playing Journey in the 8th? Haven’t made it to a game this year.
WHAMMY!
Really?
Booooooo, the worst part is, it feels like they rarely ever get to the Don’t Stop chorus, cause the song has so many freakin verses!
WHAMMY!
They played it yesterday with little respose from the crowd.
Time to move on to another idea for that spot

Hey, Hoynsie: Why do the Indians continually sign marginal, aging players (Boone, Dellucci, Branyan, etc)? Those $2 million to $3 million contracts add up. I can understand if they’re one veteran away from postseason, but why not see our young players first? — Jim Claeys, Cuyahoga Falls.
Hey, Jim: You can’t have a team of 25 rookies in the big leagues. Not if you want to avoid a 100-loss season and possibly ruining some of your best young players.
Never understood why people got so upset about the signing of Aaron Boone, David Dellucci and other borderline players. The Indians couldn’t afford anyone else and it never stopped them from signing or keeping one of their big free agents. Do you really think the three-year, $11.5 million deal they gave Dellucci prevented them from keeping CC Sabathia?
No, but you don’t have to give Dellucci 11.5 million either.

Clearly
the Dodgers were just setting up the Giants for a seriously demoralizing loss.
Well you called it, Eric
2-1 Dodgers off Manny pinch-hit HR
Boche must be kicking himself for not bringing in Brian Wilson and then letting Affledt pitch the 9th.

Still in Berkeley, campus pub
And holy crap does everyone hate me now. That home run was sooooo nice. And it all just unfolded so perfectly, you knew he was going low, you knew Manny was sitting on it, and you knew it was gone the second it left the bat.
Just, beautiful.
Look at that, he hit the f*cking bull! Guy gets a free steak!
ah looks like it

Belly with the second defensive play of the day!
Way to close out the homestand!
Dbacks open the 7th with a 2-0 lead
now they are down 5-2.. . . OUCH

What’s terrible for them is that even in games where Haren dominates they don’t even have a great chance of holding the lead.
They wont contend this year. Other than Haren and maybe Edwin, they just dont have any pitching.

Safe to say the bad after taste of yesterday's debacle has finally washed away
with a nice minty residue left for good measure. I am content today.
:-)
The interwebs just became 1,000,000,000,000,000 times a better place because of this
and on the 93rd postseason of the National Hockey League, the Slovakian-hockeygod Zeus commanded from high atop Mount Figueroa..."RELEASE THE MEAT TRAIN!" And it was good.

Well, I've had my fill of Dodger bliss for one day.
See y’all tuesday when they face the Big Red Machine (sort of)!
Is it ironic
That Jon at DT had a picture of many up for his game thread?
