Oh Yeah

Who’s at the game, are they still playing Journey in the 8th? Haven’t made it to a game this year.

Really?

Booooooo, the worst part is, it feels like they rarely ever get to the Don’t Stop chorus, cause the song has so many freakin verses!

WHAMMY!

They played it yesterday with little respose from the crowd.

Hey, Hoynsie: Why do the Indians continually sign marginal, aging players (Boone, Dellucci, Branyan, etc)? Those $2 million to $3 million contracts add up. I can understand if they’re one veteran away from postseason, but why not see our young players first? — Jim Claeys, Cuyahoga Falls.

Hey, Jim: You can’t have a team of 25 rookies in the big leagues. Not if you want to avoid a 100-loss season and possibly ruining some of your best young players.

Never understood why people got so upset about the signing of Aaron Boone, David Dellucci and other borderline players. The Indians couldn’t afford anyone else and it never stopped them from signing or keeping one of their big free agents. Do you really think the three-year, $11.5 million deal they gave Dellucci prevented them from keeping CC Sabathia?

No, but you don’t have to give Dellucci 11.5 million either.

And holy crap does everyone hate me now. That home run was sooooo nice. And it all just unfolded so perfectly, you knew he was going low, you knew Manny was sitting on it, and you knew it was gone the second it left the bat.

What’s terrible for them is that even in games where Haren dominates they don’t even have a great chance of holding the lead.

They wont contend this year. Other than Haren and maybe Edwin, they just dont have any pitching.

The interwebs just became 1,000,000,000,000,000 times a better place because of this

and on the 93rd postseason of the National Hockey League, the Slovakian-hockeygod Zeus commanded from high atop Mount Figueroa..."RELEASE THE MEAT TRAIN!" And it was good.

I won’t pretend I don’t cuss, it’s my 2nd language. I also do hate a number of players, mostly on the Phillies, and some on the Giants. They like to take any and every opportunity to make their hate known. I feel bad for any good posters in there.

by Ivdown on Apr 18, 2010 4:17 PM PDT up reply actions

that, and 70-80% of the post content was devoid of substance. Zito had what 3 strikeouts? Would take scientific notation to not how many times “suck it” and “STFD” appeared in their game threads.
