Dodgertown.net for Sale
PRESS RELEASE -Dodgertown.net- LA's ONLY DODGERTOWN DOMAIN GOING, GOING, ... LOS ANGELES, April - 2010 /Dodgertown.net/ -- Dodgertown.net, the only pure Dodgertown name on a prime domain extension not owned by the city of Vero Beach, Florida, or a business in Vero Beach, is now available for lease or purchase from its Los Angeles owner. -As the first integrated spring training camp in major league baseball, in 1948, in Vero Beach, the Dodgertown name is culturally significant in American history. -In 2008 the Dodgers' played their last spring training game in Vero Beach, moving "Dodgertown" to Los Angeles. -In fall of 2008, Dodgertown became the first, and only, baseball stadium complex to get its own ZIP Code: 90090 Currently the Los Angeles Dodgers are conducting a multi-year multi-million dollar marketing campaign to rename Dodger stadium from "Chavez-Ravine" (named after rancher, Julian Chavez, who owned the land in the 1800s), to Dodgertown. In addition to radio, tv, print and billboards the campaign slogan, "This Is My Town, Dodgertown", is also printed in big bold letters across L.A. Dodger game tickets. Note: the ad campaign is run under the "Inside Dodgertown" moniker, which diminishes the power and defeats the purpose of the Dodgertown campaign. After all, the ads and game tickets do not say "This is my town, Inside Dodgertown". And, the zip code is not for "Inside Dodgertown, California". "The name deserves a better 'home' and its 'home community' deserves to own its name", said Dodgertown domain owner C. A. Rallins. "I am an Angeleno and I would love for the domain name to stay in Los Angeles". "The question now is who wants to pay for the privilege to be the Mayor of Dodgertown?" DODGERTOWN.NET -- Purchase price: $500,000 -- Lease price: $5,000 per month during the season. $1,500 per month over the off season. ---- CONTACT: Claude -- 213-254.5506 EMAIL: crallins@gmail.com Website: http://www.Dodgertown.net [ Resource: Reported Domain Sales Prices for 2010 -- http://www.dnjournal.com/ytd-sales-charts.htm ]

I don’t get the complaints about “Inside Dodgertown.” Have I missed something?

Does “Inside the NFL” diminish the NFL’s brand name?

Seems like a whiner looking for a cash grab.

Only 1500 per month

during the off-season.

It is a great domain name for a Dodger Blogger. If you combined TBAL/DT/MOKM/SOSF/MSTI into one main blog I wonder what the traffic would be?

Patience is for those who die waiting for something to happen
