I would have yanked him the second he hit 100 pitches. I guess this shows they are certainly going to stretch him out. That said, you can’t throw 110 pitches in 4 and 2/3.

They made fun our bullpen

and I reminded them that we usually have one of the best bullpen even if it is built strangely. Then I thanked them for Beimel and Belisario and they felt I was impugning their franchise. Basically they were thin skinned yahoos.

I realize both are very aggressive, but I think he’s hungry and he wants to prove he can be the every day 2b. If he gets the start 130+ times I could see him getting over 60 walks, and possibly 70.

If he’s topping out at 15, he’ll be a nice bench piece for someone, thats about it. He ain’t shown the hitting skills outside power to tolerate 15 HRs, either.
