Great tweet
by Jon Weisman:
I don’t think I’ve ever seen a pitcher who had as many walks as he had strikeouts and still had his ERA below 2.00
(although this was before the Loney strikeout tipped the scales in K’s favor, 26-25 on the season for Garland)
I’m going to add an Ethier league leader tracker on the sidebar after the game…it will hopefully be up for a while

nice leadoff walk Ramon
now walk eckstein .. so you can face gonzo

Current rough projections for Ethier if he continues this pace:
(Prorated to last season’s 596 AB)
Runs: 122
Homeruns: 54
RBI: 186
Doubles: 54

It's not like he was hit hard
Garland gave up rockets, Ramon got dinked around aside from Gonzo’s HR.

Loyola Marymount defeated UCLA in the first round of the NCAA Women’s Water Polo Tournament thereby ending UCLA’s 5 year run of titles.

I was too because Ortiz is worse than Ely but
Garland is worse than Haren and both show that anything can happen. Which means Dodgers could just as easily lose tomorrow’s game. :)

Weaver with another relief win
I saw Martin hit the ground with his hand and I said out loud, slider.
best possible outcome
-a win on the Ortiz game, without him pitching well enough to fool management into trying that again!
-Sherrill & Weaver coming through BIG
-Kemp & Martin continue to mash
-beating a first place team, in one of the most demoralizing ways imaginable!

Dodgers DOUBLE their Run Differential in this game!
And, bye bye averageness, RESPECTABLE HERE WE COME! OVER 500 baby WOOOOOOOO!!!
Win Differential +1, Run Differential +2, I think that means we are efficient!
No, not at all
