This report is quite short as it was an abbreviated day for the Dodger minor league teams. Both the Isotopes and the Loons lost, and nothing overly exciting happened today. Allen Webster allowed 5 runs, but only 3 runs were earned and his ERA is still just 2.25 for the season.
AAA – The Isotopes picked up 11 hits in Albuquerque on Tuesday, but were shut out by the Reno Aces 3 to 0. Tim Corcoran got the start for the Topes, and while he only gave up 3 runs, he allowed 14 base runners in 7 innings. Juan Perez pitched 2 innings of shutout relief and has actually been pretty good over the past month. In his last 10 appearances, Perez has a 1.42 ERA and a .213 batting average against. The Albuquerque offense was again paced by John Lindsay, who had a double in two singles in four at bats and is now hitting .438 for the season. Jamie Hoffmann continued his hitting streak with a single in the 3rd inning. His 18 game hitting streak has now tied the Albuquerque franchise record. Justin Sellers had the first multi-hit game of his AAA career as he went 2 for 3 with a double, and Lucas May went 2 for 4 to raise his AAA average to .310.
