I’m pretty surprised myself. The dude entered the game with a wOBA of around .360 as a replacement to 2 injured star outfielders (Manny and Ethier.) Last year at this time the whine factor would be through the roof with JP slapping his way to a .320 wOBA and an inability to hit the cutoff man.
