I’m pretty surprised myself. The dude entered the game with a wOBA of around .360 as a replacement to 2 injured star outfielders (Manny and Ethier.) Last year at this time the whine factor would be through the roof with JP slapping his way to a .320 wOBA and an inability to hit the cutoff man.

Paul doesn’t suck. For all the complaining his misplays really had no effect on the outcome. Two doubles would have scored the run just as well. The offense on the other hand.
