Around SBN: Win or Lose, Boston Celtics' New Big 3 Era A Success

Can we stop claiming that we are going to win series and then get utterly blown out?

I assume you are talking about the team series previews?

Did you really think that with Kershaw/Billingsley going against Narveson/Davis that we would not win those two games coming off a three game winning streak?

While the Brewers were in the middle of a west coast road trip and had lost 8 of 10.

Well, I didn’t think the Brewers were going to continue to average 0.5 runs/game, but 11 runs/game is a breakneck fast return to the mean!

The Dodgers proved you wrong.

I know

but I’m curious if you want us to ignore the trends or the perceived skills of both teams?

No, but the overall trend of the Dodgers was that they beat up a weak team at home. The Brewers true talent is probably around .500, which is better than the Pirates certainly were. And this is still the same Dodgers team that lost 7 of 9 on the road.
