loss of the season for Ubaldo. Go Dodgers!

Outing giving up more than 1 run for Ubaldo

Has there ever been a player better than Detlef Schrempf?

Ubaldo’s on my fantasy team…he’s been unbelievable all year

I would be much more interested in your wrap up post if you went and hijacked JT’s office interview and asked him in person about why he loves shitty back up catchers named Phillips, then ask all of our 2005 questions.

generally

When your clean up batter bunts, I’ll take it

That bunt was straight out of the Jake Taylor “that’s a hell of an idea” playbook

I believe

The plan would be to force Kershaw to throw a lot of pitches.

Matt Kemp is not swinging a pink bat in the on deck circle, although he was on the list as would-be pink batters

I was talking with Thomas Harding, the Rockies’ beat guy for MLB.com, and he said Ubaldo was at 98 in the 9th inning of his no-hitter, and that he threw from the stretch from the 4th inning on in that game. Wow.

by Eric Stephen on May 9, 2010 1:32 PM PDT up reply actions

hes a complete freak of nature. It’s also an easy 98-100. Dude looks like he just playing catch out there.

by UCLADodger32 on May 9, 2010 1:33 PM PDT up reply actions

The only thing I'd worry about if I was a Rockies fan

would be Tracy’s handling of him. bu if he’s a freak of nature then they are blessed. But watching Tracy let his young starter throw 120 yesterday in a rout was almost sickening to me.

didnt watch the game yesterday, but 170 pitches while crusing isnt too much. It’s a lot easier on your arm when you get to pitch with a 6-0 lead from the first inning.

Ha, 170. Meant 120 obviously.
