Anyone just see the Blue Jays Devils game (live look in on MLB Network)?

Joe Maddon just went ballistic and was tossed after Carlos Pena tried to call for time, the ump didn’t give it to him and he was struck out. And as hard as it is to say I agree with Angel Hernandez and Joe West, I agree with them, he was calling for time right when Gregg had started his motion, seemed way late to me. But a lot of times umps will call that anyway.

Hey Eric...

I just saw your tweet re: Gene Bartow and wanted to let you know that he was diagnosed with stomach cancer last year and was said to resting comfortably at home in Birmingham.

I didn’t know if y’all knew that or not.

Kelly Johnson is a reverse split kind of guy. But, I rarely complain when Kuo comes in.

by Alex41592 on Jun 1, 2010 9:17 PM PDT up reply actions

Agree and agree. He did this with sherill and got burned. Kuo is a different story.

I seem to recall Kelly Johnson

hitting a 2 run home run off Kuo in a game that Phil, Eric and I were at last year.

The rush to warm up in the middle of an inning game, right?

by Eric Stephen on Jun 1, 2010 9:20 PM PDT up reply actions

Haren put a good swing on that one.

Here we go again

Kelly Johnson is BETTER vs. LHP.

Then again, Kuo rules the entirety of the free world, so we’ll see.

only cos Ely let him.

I'm totally missing something.

Why are there eels? I think eels are delicious. But I am confused by them.

It’s two douchebag D-Back fans. I deleted them, and gave them a warning.

Kuo creates his own splits. It’s called K splits.

Kuo is not your normal lefty

but he is one for one with that home run BH

Ok Blue

Going to score sometime soon? Maybe let Broxton pinch hit…

by aducker on Jun 1, 2010 9:23 PM PDT reply actions

Yeah, I do wonder if Torre keeps Kuo out there for the ninth. Regardless.

by Alex41592 on Jun 1, 2010 9:24 PM PDT up reply actions

With Haren pinch hitting

we will certainly win.

If they had pinch hit for Haren
we’d still win
