Dodgers Welcome Angels To Town
The Dodgers are ready to host their freeway series rivals tonight, welcoming the Angels to town for the first of two series this season. In interleague play, since 1997, the Angels have won 41 of the 74 meetings between the two teams, but the Dodgers are 20-17 at home. The Dodgers are 8-2 in the first 10 games of their 13-game homestand, and are 23-10 at Dodger Stadium this season.
The starting pitching matchup features two pitchers heading in different directions. Chad Billingsley has a 5-3 record with a 3.00 ERA in his last nine starts, while Joel Pineiro has allowed 22 runs in 23 innings over his last four starts.
Jonathan Broxton is tied for the MLB lead in one-run saves this season, as measured by when the closer entered the game, per Stats, LLC:

| Broxton | LA | 8 |

Nice
A team with a worse 1B then us. That doesn’t happen often.
It is 12-0 Red Sox
in the 3rd inning. Phillies getting thrashed.
I think its more interesting spirited debate..
But I’m partial to that rather than ‘rah rah rah lets go home team’ type of fans.
Padres
2nd in hits allowed, 3rd in fewest walks, 1st in strikeouts in the N.L. If they keep that up they will contend.
And Los Angeles Doesn't Have Any Lakes Either

Nothing beats kicking back in Salt Lake City and listening to some of that classic jazz music the city is famous for.

At least Dodgers fits LA well. City used to have trolleys
still do, in a sense
"Dodgers" Fits LA Well...
…because it was trolley CARS that Brooklynites were supposed to dodge, and now there is just a different kind of car in the streets. And what city is more famous than any other for its “car culture?” Los Angeles.

Whats all this talk about baseball?
Rudimentary creatures of flesh and blood, you touch my mind, fumbling in ignorance, incapable of understanding.
Beat L.A chant
breaks out during a blowout Red Sox game. Random.
Xei simulated that you would feel that way.
