MiLB Dodger Recap for 6/12/10

 

AAA - Isotopes win 8 - 3 as Sean Etherton improved to 2 - 0 with his fourth straight solid start. Xavier Paul banged out two doubles, Hu banged out two hits, and Ivan DeJesus got another hit.

AA – The AWOL Lookout offense found their way home slugging their way to a 13 - 8 extra inning victory. Tim Sexton was unable to follow up his fabulous game, but did manage to pitch a respectable five innings. Dee Gordon had three hits including two doubles, and his now hit in eight out of his last nine games. Trayvon Robinson also had two more singles continuing his hot June. Jordan Pratt picked up the win by pitching two scoreless innings even though he continued his wild ways with three walks. Kyle Russell struck out his last four times but before everyone thinks this proves he's out of his league, let us give him some time to make adjustments.

High A->Ethan Martin won his sixth game as the 66ers finally scored enough runs to garner a victory. Martin pitched five innings giving up two runs. Alfredo Silverio hit a double and triple as the hacker finally found a couple of pitches he could handle.

A – Loons go down to defeat 6 - 3 as the wily vet Savage, gets savaged for six runs. Songco collects another double stretching his hitting streak to seven games. Sands picks up two walks and two K's.
