MiLB Dodger Review - 6/17/10 / Sandman raises havoc once again

AAA – Offense was in full swing tonight with home runs galore by both teams. Russ Mitchell, Xavier Paul, and Lucas May all belted home runs. Mitchell hit his third home run in two games. Everyone was in on the fun except for DeJesus who went 0 - 6. Twenty six runs were scored but somehow Lindblom came out of it unscathed with one scoreless inning. I won't even mention what Cody White did tonight but he did Josh Towers proud.

AA Game - While Kyle Russell has struggled since being promoted his mojo did something to the Lookout offense because they have been scoring some major runs since he showed up. Tonight they cruised to a 14 - 2 victory behind Jesus Castillo with threw five solid innings.  Kenley Jansen chipped in with another scoreless innings for the fifth game in a row.  The offense was led by Gordon who got on base four times. Gordon who seems to run in streaks now has an eight game hitting streak going in which he's collected fourteen hits. Trayvon Robinson had two more singles giving him 15 hits in his last 10 games. Kyle Russell had another double giving him an XBH in his last three games.  He also struck out five times.

High A Ethan Martin won his his 7th game 6 - 4, going six innings, giving up only one run. Alfredo Silverio hit his first home run of the season providing the winning runs.

A –Loons win another 7 - 6 with Sands providing a three run home run. It was his league leading 18th of the season. Songco and Galvez each had two hits with Songo hitting one double, and Galvez two. Webster started but was hit hard giving up a a two and three run home run.
