In light of the fact he's a rookie, should we be looking some time to start perhaps limiting his innings for the sake of keeping him fresh/available for the long season ahead? Cause at this point, the word "rest" and "Ely" only can be mentioned when you say "Ely allows the bullpen to get rest"...
(But so far so amazing is Ely. We have found a solid pitcher to anchor the rotation with. This really reduces the sting of our lack of money to go get a front-liner like Oswalt.)
