I don't even think this applies to us
(unless Toronto wants Lilly or Kuroda!), just thought it was interesting. From Jon Morosi:
Overbay left #Jays game. Source says there has been trade interest lately. Stay tuned. #MLB
He was probably acquired by the Giants to play in their outfield

This series is huge. Manny will be back in the lineup tomorrow it sounds like. He wouldn’t be traded til Monday or at the latest Tuesday, anyway.

I know nothing about guitars
let alone making them, but I do love me some Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, and this is just a damn cool story.
Great pull Eric, loved the story
Petty’s house burned down in the late 80’s, my brothers and I saw him play the night after it happened. It was a great show, and I’m pretty sure the last time I saw a concert with my brothers. I remember the show because he didn’t talk about the fire until one point when he mentioned it, and then said but it didn’t get my guitar, and he raises it above his head then plows into one of his kick ass songs.
Love me some Tom Petty.
Speaking of brothers

Nyjer Morgan thoughts
from Ben Goessling / MASN:
Before Harris hit his homer into the Nationals’ bullpen, Nyjer Morgan got picked off first. It was the 11th time that’s happened this year, in addition to the 14 times he’s been caught stealing and the four other outs he’s committed on the basepaths. That’s a total of 29 outs on the basepaths this year, for a hitter who’s only got a .316 on-base percentage to begin with.
That’s a lot of outs on the bases!

35. UCSD
39. UC Davis
39. UCSB
41. UCI
72. UCSC
94. UCR
And at 45….. University of Texas

its not easy anymore

You see the 1-0 score, and you think, “Well what would you expect?” But it sounds like so far, both teams are hitting the ball hard, but the aces are being bailed out by luck and defense.

Okay
it was year four of Berkeley, I was burning out and there was no way I was gonna graduate. So I decide to go to bartending school, so I can live in San Francisco til I get my groove back. So I go through, learn the skills, I’m still kick ass with a bottle and remember most of the recipes, the school drilled us well…
but no one is San Francisco wants to hire a 5’8" girl with no experience to tend their bar, unless they’re like 2 times hotter than I am. But I had the face and attitude for coffee, so I rocked the coffee bar for two years before going back and finishing Berkeley last year.
I did bartend a few of my friends parties, and I always know to warn college kids not to buy gold tequilla just cause gold is higher than silver in the olympics

Really bad at bat there, again. Up 2-0, really late on the 2 fastballs in fastball counts. Thats really been his biggest problem this year. By missing the fastballs he needs to be putting in play, Kemp just sets himself up for offspeed stuff.

Just watched the Barchelorette Ali something and her boo throw out the first pitch together in San Diego.
She hit the catcher in the chest, he missed 10 ft short and 6 ft wide.
Matt has no one to blame but Matt. Brittany or Ragan are the clear favorites to me.
Although most would vote for Lane if he were in the finals against Brittany. IMO.
It has sort of fizzled for me. I guess my expectations are getting higher for BB.
I thought Brittany played her HOH week terribly, but she’s certainly well-positioned now. She acted as though her nominees were just a fait accompli. She should have honored her deal with Brendon, and had an alliance with Brendon and Reagan and nominated members of the Brigade. Matt played even worse. The super genius was too stupid to realize the Brigade flipped and though he could make an offering by offering up Reagan. Horrible players this season.
Hayden and Brittany in the finals sounds about right.
