At least Dunn can only hit a solo shot now.

Or every pitch high and tight

that would be interesting.

Braves give away a run.

But, Wagner escapes with the score tied at 2. Bottom of the ninth now.

If anyone was wondering

the last guy to have more than 6 RBI against the Dodgers was Dante Bichette, with 7 on 9/17/99

by Eric Stephen on Aug 6, 2010 8:40 PM PDT reply actions

6 RBI

Dunn tonight, Adrian Gonzalez earlier this year (in May), and Andy LaRoche last September are the only ones since beginning of 2007 to have 6 RBI against the Dodgers.

There were no three-HR games in Dodger Stadium from 1962-1965

involving the Angels.

Theriot leading all categories.

Opposite field hits and first pitch hits.

Once again, it's bullpen's suck night in MLB

Florida blows 3 run 9th inning lead to MIL
Cleveland blows T9th inning lead, then Minnesota blows B9th lead.
Braves blow 9th inning lead to SF
I guess this bodes well for the Dodgers chances tonight.

How are 3 run shots compared to last year? Seemed like we got killed last year with them.

Hardly a surprise that LA is so close to a useless season

Every team we face does something better than us. I hate watching brilliant defense kill an already weak LA offense.

Did you look

to see who won HOH?

And do you want to know, if no?

by keithc13 on Aug 6, 2010 9:03 PM PDT up reply actions

I did not look, and I don’t want to know.

Speaking of which, Rachel isn’t stupid. She kind of is, but she snuffed out that Hayden and Kristen were full of shit in their desire to be in a alliance.

And the hot girl from Arkansas can definitely win this thing. Reagen is fucked though. The outsiders should have listened to Kristen and made a move on the brigade.

by Michael White on Aug 6, 2010 9:05 PM PDT up reply actions

Yep

Rachel and Brendon made a good decision to just stick to the plan and get that idiot Kristin out.

I think Brittany is a lock for the top4 or so. From there its a crap shoot

by keithc13 on Aug 6, 2010 9:07 PM PDT up reply actions

The Brigade has played this great too. They’ve been in an alliance but have been passive as shit. They are getting deep enough that they can really do some damage.

Of course, the idiots not in the Brigade have to start actually nominating those people.

by Michael White on Aug 6, 2010 9:08 PM PDT up reply actions

They have the house thinking Lane and Matt are floaters right now

Brilliant so far.

Kristin putting bug in everyones ear doesn’t help her boo and his squad though

by keithc13 on Aug 6, 2010 9:10 PM PDT up reply actions

No, but the only person strong enough to do anything about it (Brendan) thought Kristin was lying.

I can’t believe it, but Brendan is dumber than Rachel.

by Michael White on Aug 6, 2010 9:11 PM PDT up reply actions

He is a fuckin goob

He is telling Rachel he loves her all of the time now. WTF?

Rachel telling every person that gets voted out “You aint gettin between me and my man” is getting fuckin old.

She is better at the game than Brendan is for sure. He is Johnny Moxon. He is the dumbest smart kid I know.

by keithc13 on Aug 6, 2010 9:14 PM PDT up reply actions

That got old week 1 when it was complete bullshit since the evicted houseguest had no interest whatsoever in Brendan.

Excellent Varsity Blues Reference.

by Michael White on Aug 6, 2010 9:16 PM PDT up reply actions

A

We better have some serious luck with BABIP next year, because it seems like every game there are about five great defensive plays turned against us.

by Bakofan on Aug 6, 2010 9:01 PM PDT reply actions

Dodgers have the 5th highest BABIP in the NL this year (.306). League BABIP is .300

by Eric Stephen on Aug 6, 2010 9:03 PM PDT up reply actions

We hardly hit any home runs though.

by Bakofan on Aug 6, 2010 9:06 PM PDT up reply actions

home runs don’t affect BABIP

by Eric Stephen on Aug 6, 2010 9:06 PM PDT up reply actions

Yeah, so this team relies on some luck considering we don’t have a lot of power, regardless of playing half of their games in a pitcher’s park.

by Bakofan on Aug 6, 2010 9:14 PM PDT up reply actions

But the Dodgers have been lucky this year in BABIP, relative to the league, and have jack shit to show for it.

by Eric Stephen on Aug 6, 2010 9:16 PM PDT up reply actions

Got a break and nothing leads to it.

by Alex41592 on Aug 6, 2010 9:02 PM PDT reply actions

One good thing about his game, Kersehaw’s x-FIP will drop!

Still, that’s one flaw of the system. Not many guys can smash a ball out of Dodger Stadium like that, but x-FIP treats every homer as the same.

by Tripon on Aug 6, 2010 9:05 PM PDT reply actions

first MLB walk for Jansen.

And it’s Justin Maxwell?

by Eric Stephen on Aug 6, 2010 9:06 PM PDT reply actions

Not that Ausmus had a chance

but he took forever to get that throw off

Dunn not hitting one in the Nats bullpen if possible

by keithc13 on Aug 6, 2010 9:11 PM PDT reply actions

Walk Dunn to set up the 3 run homer

This season is full of kick in the ballsack ironies

by aducker on Aug 6, 2010 9:13 PM PDT reply actions

He is probably counting Nats fans

vs the number of Nats fans at home games.

They probably average about 39 fans when SS isn’t pitching

by keithc13 on Aug 6, 2010 9:15 PM PDT up reply actions

I'm not sure how that's possible.

There would have to be a great number of D.C. transplants, and for a team a few years of existence, that’s just not possible. Its not as if people who grew up in D.C. and moved west are going to pick up the Nats as their team.

by Tripon on Aug 6, 2010 9:16 PM PDT up reply actions

You know, they were in Montreal since 1969, too.

by Eric Stephen on Aug 6, 2010 9:17 PM PDT up reply actions

That big of a move, new city, new name, new country probably means a lot of Expos fans ditched the team.

I’m wondering what I will do when the Clippers move to Seattle.

by Michael White on Aug 6, 2010 9:18 PM PDT up reply actions

Yes, but how many Montreal transplants are in L.A. and still root for the team?

Its like saying the Seattle transplants in L.A. still root for the Seattle Sonics.

Which doesn’t exist.

by Tripon on Aug 6, 2010 9:18 PM PDT up reply actions

They don’t just have to be from the city to root for the team.

And if any place in the country has transplants, it’s LA

by Eric Stephen on Aug 6, 2010 9:20 PM PDT up reply actions

I don’t know anyone from Montreal who cares about baseball let alone the Expos, which why they’re not there anymore.
