Dodgers Play Musical Chairs w/Managers

If you became a fan of the LA Dodgers anytime before 1976, from then until mid-1996, you only had two managers to deal with, Walter Alston and Tommy Lasorda.  Since then, with the announcement of Don Mattingly's hire for 2011, the Dodgers have had 7 (counting Glenn Hoffman's interim position) in the next 15 seasons (including 2011).

Is that a lot, let's look at the rest of the National League from 1996:

Arizona has had 6 (counting Kirk Gibson's interim position)

Atlanta, Bobby Cox has held the job since 1991, there will be a new manager in 2011.

Chicago, has 7 (counting current interim manager)

Cincinnati, has had 8

Colorado, has had 5

Florida has had 11 managers

Houston has had 8

Milwaukee has had 8

New York has had 5

Philadelphia has had 5

Pittsburgh has had 6

San Diego has had 2

San Francisco has had 3

St. Louis has had Tony LaRussa in that chair since 1996

Washington/Montreal has had 5
