MiLB Dodger Recap 9/4/10
This is going to be brief. Anyone wants to fill it in feel free.
1. Rubby lost for the first time in AA, but pitched well, going five innings, giving up six hits, one earned run, no walks, four K's.
2. Gerald Sands slugged his 17th AA home run.
3. Jonathan Garcia had a double, triple, and home run, leaving him a single shy of the cycle.
I'm sure glad the Dodgers decided they didn't need extra reinforcements yesterday because at no time did I see a need for the speed of Robinson or a left handed pinch hitter. At no time. None. I'm sure Casey Blake is just fine being the tying run in the 9th inning and Reed Johnson makes for the perfect pinch hitter against a RHP. Better we go with the normal roster for the last important weekend of the season.
Have a happy Labor Day weekend or whatever is left of it after Broxton put the final nail into the Dodger coffin.
I really want to like him, I really do, but the big horse don't make it easy.
