Over at Pinstripe Alley we were very upset to hear about the loss of Marcus Thames to the Dodgers family. That being said, we wish him nothing but the best of luck. You may want to learn a bit more about Thames, so let's take a look.

First of all, it is pronounced Tims. That will likely cause you emotional trauma over the year, as it did me. If not, maybe I am a crazy person.

Secondly, Thames plays a great third base. He even made this instructional video!

Third of all, just when you start to get frustrated with his defense, he will do something like this. If he does something like this, he expects some pie or a nice treat.

Fourth, a personal apology to Thames. Before the season, we laughed at the fact that he made the roster after his awful, awful spring training. He proved us wrong.

Fifth and last of all, while he is terrible defensively, he is a great guy and will do the simple things. Enjoy and for what it's worth right now the Dodgers are my pick to make the World Series out of the NL.
