you could be right. But word is that Palmer is the one who said he isnt ready. Then again today media reported it was up to Palmer if he would start or not… so while it might not be true, seems to me Palmer is sitting himself.

Game Four

What is in store for tonight’s game? Crazy slugfest world or regular planet earth baseball?

Last nights crazy 16-7 game was the 302nd most likely final score in the simulation. The run total line in Vegas opened at 9.8 runs (9.5 O -120) and overnight jumped to 10.3 runs (10 O -120) which is almost unheard of. Could it be a psychological over-reaction to last nights slugfest? The run total line of 10.3 runs is the tied for 19th highest run total line of any game so far this season. Two Derek Holland pitched games are on the list ahead of this one. They were home games against the Florida Marlins and Houston Astros. The Marlins pitcher was Brad Hand (#2 Rank, Vegas 10.8 runs, Actual runs 14) and the Astros pitcher was J.A. Happ (#14 Rank, Vegas 10.4 runs, Actual runs 11). What does tonight have in store?

People become way too weird about age, even when both have been adults for a while.

This is an incredibly obvious thing to say, but if the people make each other happy who would care how old the other one is when you are talking about the difference of 10 years, not 30.

Basically

hard to get too excited about beating Miami (who may be frontrunner for Luck now and probably need him more than anything) but he did have two great drives where he did a lot to make up for how horrible he looked for 3 quarters. It’s going to be a roller coaster with him and still has a lot to improve on. But hard to argue with his toughness or leadership.

And heck, I watched a better QB in Philip Rivers, who has been around much longer than Tebow, make some truly inexplicable throws today and show zero leadership. So I won’t overlook that aspect of it, too.

And even though he was sacked 7 times today, probably only 2 of those were on him. Orton might have been sacked 10 times. Anyway… it’s a start.

If you are in enough pain to need constant vicodin, your dr.

should be able to rx you enough to keep you OK. It’s very addicting and is a controlled substance, and has ruined many peoples lives, so it should be illegal to get it without an rx.

I get it legally and doubt I would ever resort to getting it illegally. That’s not the point I was getting at. You said doing illegal drugs makes you a bad person. I’m just trying to figure out how it changes who that person is. Doing illegal drugs doesn’t make you a bad person. Doing bad things while on those drugs would though.

I know plenty of people who act horrible when drinking alcohol yet that is legal. How is it different?

Part of my many health problems cause me to be in extreme pain at times. I legally take vicodin for it and have for over a year, but if I had to get it illegally would it make me a bad person? Would it change who I am at all?

though at least they did bring in Daniel. At first from just looking at box score, I thought they’d left Brees in the whole game, which would’ve been really lame. But Daniel didn’t throw a pass which is why he wasn’t listed.

I mean that teasingly of course

but statistically, well let’s just say this, whatever their problems both the Dolphins AND the Broncos have a pretty decent defense. The Colts’ D looks horrible right now. To me, a Peyton-less Colts team is worse than the Dolphins, who are bad but can be competitive, and were kind of designed around making mediocre QB effective in the first place. Anyway, after seeing the Dolphins a few times this season, and some of the Colts games, I’d say the Colts are the worst team right now.
