Here’s an inspiring story for you. Dick Kaegel covers the Royals for MLB.com and he covered all 162 games in 2011. That is remarkable in its own right, but even more amazing when you realize Kaegel is 72 and was diagnosed with inoperable liver cancer just four years ago.
Kudos to Kaegel.
Happy Thanksgiving
Don’t forget you are required by state law to have your tree and lights up by Saturday. :)
Happy Thanksgiving!
I bagged the cooking last night, so I’m roasting away this morning

Hey guys
I heard this rumor that Jim and John Harbaugh are actually brothers!! I think the media have gotten wind of it, so I’ll investigate further and post whatever evidence I can find.
Happy Holiday!

he cares not for winning – just cost his team 4 points and a defensive lineman
I would hate him if he played for the Steelers

totally
But he’s also not the only lion blowing this game via penalties

made up some BS excuse for it after the game too
said he was trying to regain his balance or something.
Happy Thanksgiving, and thanks for all you do!
May you win the wishbone in your post-meal wishbone formation.

This Texas/a&m game is kinda awesome. My dad is a longhorn and he went to bed like 2 hours ago.
by hee came hee seop'd he choi'd on Nov 24, 2011 8:58 PM PST via mobile reply actions
It’s also completely retarded that Texas thinks they’re too good to play a&m every year because of butthurtedness related to realignment and the longhorn network..

Sounds like James Loney will be our 1B next season.
Was hoping for Jim Loney. Oh well. Sucks.

Actually, I was wondering if McDonals breakfast goes until 11am on a friday? I think its only 10am on weekdays and 11 on weekends, but it is black friday, so maybe today is an exception? Guess Ill go find out!

My friend is convinced LSU drops out of the title picture with a loss
Who would be in the SEC championship with an LSU loss here, any idea?

the best
Hope for a non-SEC BCS Title is for Auburn to beat Alabama
by bhsportsguy on Nov 25, 2011 1:09 PM PST via iPhone app up reply actions
Bama vs. Georgia, unless Bama loses to Auburn tomorrow. Then it would be the Hogs. But having watched Auburn struggle with Samford last week, Keith and I shouldn’t get too hopeful.

21-14 LSU. I missed that touchdown. 59 seconds left in second quarter

Good news for UCLA
Colorado is up 7-0 in the first quarter in Utah. If Colorado snaps it’s 23-game road losing streak today, UCLA wins the Pac-12 South Division.
Their potential reward? Playing Oregon in Eugene! Hooray!

Did the Dodgers sign Adam Kennedy?
Or is my friend just trying to make me think we are getting Miles Part 2.
TBLA 2011 Postseason Prediction Champion
Kennedy has about 18 times more WAR in his career then Miles.
Not every “scrappy” middle infielder is completely worthless
Watch me all in flames, on a butterfly I ride
Kennedy is 38 or 39
coming off a .1 fWAR season and .8 the season before that. I’m not comparing careers, i’m comparing current ability, which is not much.
TBLA 2011 Postseason Prediction Champion
last 3 years Keneedy has 2+ war. Miles? - something. Come on now.
Watch me all in flames, on a butterfly I ride
Counting 3 years in the past with someone as old as him
is meaningless. I realize you like him because you are an Angel fan too, but at this point it’s clearly Aaron Miles = Adam Kennedy.
TBLA 2011 Postseason Prediction Champion
I feel like this may be the most pointless argument ever
which is a big accomplishment for some of the things even you and I have ever argued over, lol.
If I were being legitimate about it, Kennedy is going from 1.8, to .8, to .1, where miles is going from -1.3, to .1, to .8, so having either of them at this point just sounds like a shitty option, even for the bench.
TBLA 2011 Postseason Prediction Champion
I just had the first of what will likely be dozens of turkey sandwiches.
Turkey always tastes better in a sandwich after being refrigerated.
serious question
did it have cranberry sauce on it?

@maddzgoesrawr @arenafitness
take the cranberry sauce
And make soft preserves out of it.

not that
It is mattered much this year but UCLA has had some poorly officiated games this year. Last week they got called for a block in the back while punting the ball.

Great memories. Forgot all about Franklin Stubbs, Rick Dempsey, Tracy Woodson.
