The Survivor pool won't be the same without pool renegade mleadman.  It took 9 weeks, but mleadman's rogue style finally caught up to him with a loss.  After succesfully betting against Tebow in week 8, Carson Palmer's Raiders got owned by the Broncos, eliminating mleadman; he had a good run.  In other week 9 action, there were lots of eliminations.  Of the 11 remaining participants, 5 were eliminated, nearly cutting the field in half.  XXDC2XX, Phil Gurnee, and keithc13 were eliminated with Miami winning their first game of the season and Hollywood Joe was asleep at the wheel, not waking up until Monday afternoon leaving him only the Monday Night Football Game for his survivor pick. Joe guessed wrong, with the visiting Bears beating the now 3-5 Eagles.

A few logistical notes. Beginning in week 10 there is a Thursday night game.  Going forward, picks simply need to be made by the time that game kicks off (a rule essentially in place all season anyway.)  Note, as always, you can not pick the same team that was picked in weeks 1 thru 9.
