The Dodgers signed veteran left-handed reliever Ron Mahay to a minor-league contract with an invitation to Spring Training. He will be 40 years old this coming season. Last year he held left handers to a batting line of .219 / .239 / .281 / .520 while pitching for the Minnesota Twins. His career line against lefties is .232 / .303 / .386 / .689.
