Does anyone know about the last time the Giants won the World Series?  1954.  Who won the World Series the year before in 1953?  The New York Yankees.

Who just won the World Series?  The San Francisco Giants.  Who won it the in 2009?  The New York Yankees.

The point I'm trying to make here is that the last time the Giants won the World Series the team that won the year before was the Yankees just like most recently.  What does this mean to Dodger fans?  The team that won the 1955 World Series was the Brooklyn Dodgers. 

Now if history were to repeat itself, that would mean the 2011 World Series Champions will be the Los Angeles Dodgers!  I know I know, it is quite a long shot for that to happen, but to defend this year's team--no one had the Giants even winning the division last year and look what happened?  It doesn't hurt to dream and to think that there is always a chance, cause there is.  If the Dodgers can stay healthy, add maybe a few more key players, and play like they know they can, there is no reason not to believe that history couldn't repeat itself.  I wish it would!  Go Dodgers!
