Juan Uribe has been a streaky hitter this season. He was:
- 7-for-49 to start the season (.143/.222/.204 in 54 PA)
- 13-for-29 with three home runs from April 17-29 (..448/.452/.828 in 31 PA)
- 5-for-47 from April 30 to May 14 (.106/.176/.128 in 51 PA)
- 4-for-9 from May 15-18 (.444/.643/.556 in 14 PA)
Uribe has 10 unintentional walks this season, and five of them have come in the last four games. His current streak of walking in four straight games ties his career high, set in 2005 while with the White Sox. Perhaps those walks, coupled with the double off Brian Wilson last night, will trigger an extended hot streak from Uribe. He'll need it too, as the Dodgers' number five hitter is hitting .216/.293/.336 on the season.
Lineups
With the left-handed Madison Bumgarner on the mound for the Giants, that means Jerry Sands will play left field tonight. In addition, James Loney sits in favor of Russ Mitchell.
Mark DeRosa, who hurt his left wrist in last night's game, was placed on the 15-day disabled list today, and infielder Emmanuel Burris was recalled to take his place.

Padilla To The DL
Vicente Padilla, who last pitched Friday against Arizona and has complained of forearm stiffness in the last few days, was placed on the disabled list today. Ramon Troncoso, who has allowed 12 hits to the 17 major league batters he has faced this season, was recalled from Triple A to take Padilla's spot on the roster.
If you are keeping score at home, that's 14 trips to the DL this season by 11 different Dodgers.
