Jerry Sands or Trayvon Robinson

I posted my minor league left field rankings today, and Phil brought up a solid poll question in the comments.

Who will have a better career: Jerry Sands or Trayvon Robinson?

I'm not going to put up advanced statistics to skew anyone's vote, although feel free pull up their numbers before you cast your vote.

Poll
Who will have a better big league career:

Trayvon Robinson

I picked Trayvon because “Xavier Paul” is more successful than “2009 Chad Tracy”

or rather, in my mind, I figure Trayvon can at least be a 4th OF/PR type. Sands is going to be boom or bust.

Tray seems like he’s dropped the whole speed thing this year, and there’s a lot of faster guys that can’t hit floating around on waivers.

Is Michael Cuddyer "boom"

because I could see that. And I’ll take that for sure.

Trayvon seems safer

Jerry has the higher ceiling though

I am very interested

in seeing how Trayvon handles major league pitchers

I don’t know. Sands already been to the bigs so I guess he can adjust. Robinson hasn’t so I’m gonna go with sands. But I’m pulling for trayvon to make an impression. JE-RRY! JE-RRY! JE-RRY!

133 votes (as of right now) seems like a lot.

I voted Sands for the hit tool, but I’d be happy to be proved wrong.
