- Former Dodger Russell Martin started Saturday night at catcher for the Yankees, but then played the final two innings at second base, his first time ever playing the position as a professional. Martin is the second Yankee since 1919 to play both catcher and second base in the same game, joining Rick Cerone on May 20, 1990.
